Kansas Housing funds 599 affordable homes

Fifteen housing developments will add or preserve a collective 599 affordable homes to the state’s housing stock, thanks to funds awarded through the state’s competitive 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credit application process. The awards, totaling $10.3 million in both federal and state tax credits and $7.55 million in HUD Resources, will construct 459 new homes and rehabilitate 140 existing homes for Kansas seniors and families.
