The State of Kansas will conduct a public hearing to provide an opportunity for citizens to review and comment upon the preliminary draft of the 2026 Action Plan of the 2024 – 2028 Kansas Consolidated Plan. The Consolidated Plan is the State’s policy framework for federal community development and housing programs.
The proposed 2026 Action Plan will be available for public comment from October 1 to 31, 2025.. Limited hard copies will be available at the public hearing site and upon request. Please direct written comments to the attention of the Consolidated Plan, at the address listed below.
Estimated resources available annually in the 2026 Annual Action Plan include approximately $14,901,309 from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), $6,030,622.47 from the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), $3,134,373.20 from the Housing Trust Fund, $1,653,121 from the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and $806,986 from the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) programs.
