Friend of Affordable Housing Grant Application

The application period for the 2025 Friend of Affordable Housing Grant is now closed.

Would you like to attend the 2025 Kansas Housing Conference October 27-29 in Overland Park? Could you use financial assistance to make that happen? Apply now for a grant to cover conference registration and hotel accommodation. 

A minimum of three grants will be available. Limit one application per person.

Who can apply? Individuals, non-profit professionals, volunteers, students, or other housing advocates working in Kansas are encouraged to apply. This program serves those who hope to attend the Kansas Housing Conference but lack the financial means or institutional support to do so. Students pursuing careers in affordable housing and people with lived experience of housing instability or homelessness will receive priority consideration.

What will the grant cover? Each grant will cover one conference registration and 3 nights in the hotel block for one attendee. Breakfast and lunch also provided during the conference.

Applications will be accepted July 17 – Sept. 5. All applicants will be notified via email.
