The State of Kansas will conduct a public hearing on housing needs and issues for citizens to have input into the development of the 2027 Annual Action Plan, part of the state’s 2024-2028 Five-Year Consolidated Plan. This plan is the state’s policy framework for federal community development and housing programs. The public hearing will also be available online.Â

Resources available in 2027 are approximately $15,696,818 from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), $5,989,910 from HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), $3,134,373 from National Housing Trust Fund (HTF), $1,662,977 from the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and $864,874 from Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) programs.
