Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC) hereby notifies interested parties of the availability of funds for the production and preservation of affordable rental housing as follows:
- $4M – 2024 HOME Funds (Anticipated Maximum)
- $3.5M – 2024 National Housing Trust Fund (Anticipated Maximum)
- $8.5M – 2024 Federal 9% LIHTC Allocation Available (Anticipated Minimum)
- $8.5M – 2024 State 9% Affordable Housing Tax Credit (Anticipated Minimum)
It is critical that applicants understand the requirements and restrictions of HUD’s HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Program at 24 CFR Part 92 and the National Housing Trust Fund (HTF) at 24 CFR Part 93. The regulations and guidance can be found on the HUD Exchange website.
We ask all applicants to visit our Housing Development web page to obtain the 2025 Qualified Allocation Plan, 2025 LIHTC Application, KHRC Experience Summary form, Certification of Accessibility Compliance form, and LIHTC Application Certification form.
Federal and State LIHTC allocation information is located in the 2025 Qualified Allocation Plan, including 4% and 9% LIHTC deadlines. KHRC is currently amending the 2025 Qualified Allocation Plan due to state legislative changes. Please view the proposed amended plan and register for the public hearing on our Qualified Allocation Plan web page.
