Kansas Weatherization Assistance Program

Kansas Housing Resources Corporation will conduct two public hearings to receive comments for the 2020 Weatherization State Plan Application.

  • The first hearing will be held on February 13 at 2:00 pm to receive public input and suggestions on the development of the 2020 State Plan, which is anticipated to be similar to the 2019 State Plan.  
  • A second public hearing will be held on April 15 at 2:00 pm to receive public comment on the 2020 State Plan Draft, which will be available on our website by April 2.  

Both hearings will be held at the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation office at 611 S. Kansas Avenue, Suite 300, in Topeka. Limited hard copies will be available at the public hearing site upon request. Written comments on the draft plan must be received by noon on April 15

Parking is available along Kansas Avenue, and the hearings will be shorter than the two-hour parking limit. If you are in need of a sign language interpreter, an assistive listening device, large print, or other accommodations to attend this meeting, you must notify KHRC at least one week prior to the meeting.
