Notice of Public Hearing to Receive Comments for the 2023 Weatherization State Plan
Kansas Housing Resources Corporation will conduct a virtual public hearing to receive comments on the draft copy of the 2023 Weatherization State Plan. The draft plan can be found on KHRC’s Weatherization Assistance Program page, near the bottom of the page under documents and forms. The 2023 State Plan is very similar to the 2022 plan, but revisions have been made to the Weatherization Readiness Funding (WRF), Deferral Tracking, Training and Technical Assistance section, and updated information is provided on steps being taken to add additional subrecipients. Instructions and requirements of the 2023 State Plan Application can be found online.
Comments and suggestions received will become part of the public record. Additionally, written comments may be submitted on the plan. All written comments must be received by noon on April 17, 2023. Public Hearing to Receive Comments for the WAPBIL Weatherization State Plan
Kansas Housing Resources Corporation will conduct a virtual public hearing to receive comments on the draft copy of the Weatherization Assistance Program Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (WAPBIL) State Plan.
The draft plan can be found on the Weatherization Assistance page of KHRC’s website under “Documents | Forms | Resources” near the bottom of the page. The WAPBIL State Plan is very similar to the 2022 annual plan with regard to policies and procedures, but revisions have been made to add Southeast Kansas Community Action Program (SEKCAP) as a subrecipient. This hearing shall serve as the opportunity to receive public comment on the additional of SEKCAP per 10 CFR 440. Instructions and requirements of the WAP State Plan Application can be found here.
